10-Generation iPad
The new iPad 10-generation (the base or normal iPad) has gotten a major overhaul. Some features include: — Larger 10.9” screen (Same as the Air) — Much faster processor — Upgraded cameras — Horizontal Facetime camera — USB-C connectivity — Upgraded case design, no more Home button — Touch ID in power button The 10th-generation iPad is the most common model and the lease expensive. But it does not lack for power or features. The Apple Pencil works with it, the screen is as large as more expensive models, the processor was upgraded, and the cameras are significantly better. Apple has eschewed the Lightning port and is now using a USB-C port, the same as on all Mac computers. So, you can actually charge your iPad from your Macbook Pro charger and any other widely universal USB-C charger. We welcome the change! The new iPad is more expensive. It now starts at $449. But, with the new features included and it being now faster than a current Macbook Air, you’re still getting a value. Cellular connectivity is available for an additional $150. Colors: The iPad comes in Silver, Yellow, Pink, and Blue. For the vast majority of you, the iPad will do the trick and is still more than you'll ever use, so please consider it versus the Pro models. 10th-generation iPads are on sale today. But for those who are power users and/or wish to have a larger screen…Apple has an upgrade for you as well… the iPad Pro. |
